SUMMARY:EES Drama Program Fundraiser - Benefit Bake
DESCRIPTION:The Edmunds Elementary Drama Program is excited to announce our annual Benefit Bake in conjunction with American Flatbread – a true Win-Win-Win fundraiser!  For over 20 years\, EES Drama has partnered with Very Merry Theatre to produce a theatrical performance that involves over 50 of our young actors\, singers and stagehands.  Fundraising is the primary means of covering our production\, scholarships\, costumes\, scripts and so much more.  Our production rehearsals begin in January with performances happening in March. \n\n\n\nFor each flatbread pizza that is ordered for take-out or dine-in on November 7th\, EES Drama will receive a portion of the proceeds. This previously successful fundraiser is a wonderful way to support EES Drama\, help a local restaurant that means so much to our community and answer the age-old question\, “What’s for dinner?”  We hope you will be able to join us in supporting our student actors!

DESCRIPTION:Hi everybody!It’s almost time for MayFair Spring Carnival 2023! The Mayfair Spring Carnival takes place Friday May 19th. This event is one of the PTO’s largest fundraisers and an Edmunds Elementary School tradition! SUMMARY:Fine Arts Night Grades K-2
DESCRIPTION:The Edmunds Elementary School K-2 Fine Arts Night will be Thursday\, May 11th. The event begins at 5:45pm with an art show on the first floor of EES. At 6:15 we will proceed to the EES gym for a community sing-along lead by our kindergarten\, first and second graders. The event should be complete by 7:00pm. Some children can get a bit nervous when performing. Research has shown that introducing the idea of “stage fright” can make this problem even bigger. If your child is expressing anxiety about performing\, try reminding them that everyone’s body gets extra energy when they have a big job to do. We can help our bodies use this energy to help our work by taking nice big breaths and wiggling our fingers and toes (or whole bodies) to spread the energy out throughout our bodies.
