🍬 Dan’s Chocolates Fundraiser

Our biggest fundraiser of the year starts this week! Order forms will be going home with your children very soon. Dan’s Chocolates was started by a former Burlington School District parent, and the PTO receives 50% of all chocolates sold. Order forms are due back by Wednesday October 21.

Funds raised help pay for EES community events and academic enrichment. This fundraiser helps pay for educational opportunities (field trips, classroom supplies), community events (Welcome BBQ, Math Night, Skate Night, End-of-Year BBQ), and other extras that help make Edmunds Elementary such a wonderful school.

🏷️ Mabel’s Labels & Tea Collection Promo Code Fundraisers

Edmunds Elementary PTO is partnering with Mabel’s Labels to fundraise for our school. Please scan the attached QR code (or visit https://mabelslabels.com/fundraising/support), search for Edmunds Elementary PTO, Inc (Burlington) and shop labels for your child’s school gear. We earn 20% commission on all sales.

Tea Collection is a clothing brand that celebrates PTOs by donating 15% of their sales back to us so we can help Edmunds Elementary. From tomorrow through October 10, shop children’s clothes at Tea Collection and enter the Promo Code SDF26EDMUNDS. You will receive a 20% discount off select styles.

🏫 Classroom Parents Needed

Classroom Parents help build community by coordinating occasional needs (class celebrations, field trip help, quick email updates) and staying in touch with the teacher. We aim for one Classroom Parent per classroom. It’s low-commitment (~10 hours/year), flexible (can be done virtually), and teacher-aligned (simply check in to see what’s needed). We’re looking to fill one Classroom Parent spot for each class. Reach out to Eric Zamore ([email protected]) for more info.

Edmunds Elementary Skate Night

Join us on Friday, May 1st, for an evening of skating, pizza, and fun!

Location: Gordon H. Paquette Ice Arena (Leddy Park) 216 Leddy Park Rd, Burlington, VT

Date: Friday, May 1

Time: Skating from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm; Pizza will be served at 5:30 pm

Details: Free skate rentals, courtesy of our PTO. Please bring your skates if you have them. Helmets are encouraged (ski and bike helmets are great). 

No-Frills Fundraiser 2026

Now through February 28, the PTO is hosting our annual No-Frills Fundraiser, which directly funds classroom activities, field trips, and favorite community events like Welcome BBQ, Community Traditions Night, Math Night, and Skate Night.

This fundraiser is designed to be easy on families’ time—no selling, no volunteering, just a straightforward way to give. To give a sense of impact: it costs about $300 to provide pizza for a typical school-wide PTO event, and donations of all sizes help make these moments possible. Your contribution—of any amount—helps ensure we can continue offering meaningful learning experiences and fun, inclusive events for all of our students throughout the year.
